Three things about fitting film in an East County summer.
UV is relentless. There is no marine layer to take the edge off an El Cajon afternoon, so the film is working every day of a long season. Yellowing, edge lift and hardened adhesive are what happen to cheap film under that, and they all show worse than the chips the film was meant to hide.
Application needs cool panels and a covered space. Film laid on hot paint in direct sun does not sit down properly. A garage is what we would ask for, and in midsummer an early slot if there is not one.
