What Boat Detailing Packages Do You Offer?
Smith Bros offers several packages depending on your boat's condition. Options include Wash & Wax, Wash & Ceramic, Interior Detail, Complete Detail, and Restorer for oxidation removal.
Ceramic coating tiers (Bronze, Silver, and Gold) provide protection from 1 to 5 years. Each package is priced per foot, so you only pay based on boat size.
Can You Remove Oxidation and Restore Faded Gelcoat?
Our Restorer package is built specifically for boats with oxidized or faded surfaces. We use machine buffing to bring back shine and color, with the option to add a ceramic sealant for extended protection.
Do You Offer Ceramic Coating for Boats?
Smith Bros applies Opti-Coat Pro and Optimum Gloss Coat ceramic coatings for boats, providing multi-year protection against UV damage, saltwater, and contaminants. We also offer TEC582 ceramic sealant for up to 6 months of gloss and hydrophobic protection.
How Often Should I Have My Boat Detailed?
For boats detailed regularly or with frequent use, we recommend a wash every 4 to 6 weeks and a wax or ceramic upgrade at least once a season. Regular detailing prevents salt buildup and staining, extending the life of your finish and teak trim.
Where Can My Boat Be Detailed?
We can detail your boat at your home, storage facility, or our San Marcos shop, but it must be on a trailer or out of the water. For safety and quality, we do not perform detailing on boats while they are in the water.
