Ceramic coating in La Jolla

A ceramic coating answers both. Salt bonds to uncoated paint and needs a real wash to remove; on a coated panel it sits on the surface and rinses away. Meanwhile the coating absorbs the UV that would otherwise be flattening the clear coat, including the share of it that arrives reflected off the water.

Finding a covered space near the Village

This is the practical constraint in La Jolla, and it is worth settling before booking. A coating has to cure in a clean, covered space, and around the Village and the older streets down towards the Shores plenty of homes have no driveway at all.

A garage is ideal. An assigned space in a building works. What does not change: sand is still abrasive, so dry-wiping is still the fastest way to put swirls in a car, and the drive-through brushes are still the worst thing you can do to it.
