Mobile detailing in Ramona

That combination is unusually hard on a car. Sustained UV fades and chalks anything plastic, dries leather, hazes headlights and takes the depth out of paint over a few seasons. Fine dust off a dirt drive settles on it all constantly, works into seals and shuts, and is the thing most likely to put swirl marks in a finish when someone wipes it off dry.

We come to you, which given the drive is the whole reason this service exists. The van is self-contained with water and power, so a property at the end of a long track is no harder for us than a house on Main Street. See the detailing packages.

The hardest UV in the county

Ramona is about as exposed as it gets, and the effect on a vehicle is not subtle once you know what to look for.

Anything plastic goes first: mirror housings, bumper trim, roof rails and the top of the dashboard chalk and fade. Headlights haze early, which is a visibility problem before it is a cosmetic one. Dark paint loses its depth and starts to look flat rather than glossy, and that is oxidation of the clear coat rather than dirt — it polishes out, but only so many times.

Slowing it down is a two-step job: correct the paint and the trim properly, then protect them. Ceramic coating in Ramona is what takes the UV afterwards instead of the clear coat taking it, and on a vehicle that collects dust off a dirt drive it also makes the wash a much shorter job. For the interior, window tinting is the only thing that reduces the heat rather than repairing what it did.
