Mobile Window Tinting in Miramar
Looking For Window Tinting in Miramar?
We install window tint at your place in Miramar, not ours.
Tint is not only about how the car looks. The right film cuts the heat that builds up in a parked car, takes the glare out of a commute and keeps UV off your seats and dash. Between the freeway commute and year-round sun, paint here picks up road grit and UV fade.
We fit carbon and ceramic films, from a straightforward carbon tint up to Apex Ultra ceramic at 95% heat rejection, and we will tell you honestly which one is worth the difference for how you actually drive.
Film needs a clean, covered space to go on well, so a garage or carport is ideal. Our technicians are licensed and fully insured.

What's included in a window tint install?
Three full-car film tiers, plus front-window and windshield options you can fit on their own. The full breakdown lives on the window tinting service page.
Bronze Carbon Tint
GeoShield C2 Carbon film for the whole car, at 50% heat rejection and 99% UV. A solid, no-fuss tint, carrying a 3-year film warranty. In-shop only. $249-$399 plus tax.
Silver Ceramic Tint
GeoShield Pro Nano Ceramic at 76% heat rejection and 99% UV, low haze, with a lifetime film warranty. Rejects noticeably more heat than carbon without going darker, and the tier most drivers land on. $349-$499 plus tax.
Gold Ceramic Tint
GeoShield Apex Ultra Ceramic at 95% heat rejection and 99% UV, low haze, with a lifetime film warranty. For drivers who park in the sun or spend real time on the freeway. $549-$699 plus tax.
Front Windows Only
Match the front to existing rear tint, or start there. C2 Carbon at 50% heat rejection is $149 and is in-shop only; Pro Nano Ceramic at 76% is $199; Apex Ultra Ceramic at 95% is $249, plus tax. Ceramic options carry a lifetime film warranty.
Windshield Tint
A full windshield film that cuts the heat coming straight at you, with a lifetime film warranty. Pro Nano from $299, Apex Ultra from $399, plus tax and depending on the vehicle.
Aftercare Included
We walk you through curing before we leave. Leave the windows up for three days, and expect some haze or small bubbles while the film dries out.
How much does window tinting cost in Miramar?
Tint prices follow the film and the vehicle, from a coupe up to a full-size SUV or truck, because bigger and more complex glass takes more film and more time. The same prices apply anywhere in San Diego County.
| Package | Film | Heat rejection | Warranty | Price |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Bronze | GeoShield C2 Carbon | 50% | 3 years | $249-$399 |
| Silver | GeoShield Pro Nano Ceramic | 76% | Lifetime | $349-$499 |
| Gold | GeoShield Apex Ultra Ceramic | 95% | Lifetime | $549-$699 |
| Front windows only | Carbon or ceramic | 50-95% | 3 years or lifetime | $149-$249 |
| Windshield | Pro Nano or Apex Ultra | up to 95% | Lifetime | from $299 |
All tint prices are plus tax, and they are estimates until we have seen the vehicle and checked the size and condition of the glass. Additional labour is never charged without your approval. Booking a tint means agreeing to our window tint disclaimer, which sets out curing times and what film can and cannot do.
What tint is legal in California?
California limits front side windows to a minimum of 70% VLT, which is the share of visible light the glass lets through. Rear windows and the rear windshield can run any shade you like.
In practice that means most drivers go darker at the back for privacy and stay legal at the front, and a good ceramic film at 70% still rejects a lot of heat without going dark. If you want the cabin cooler rather than darker, the film matters far more than the shade does.
We will talk you through the combination before we fit anything, so the car ends up road-legal and does what you wanted it to do.
How mobile window tinting works in Miramar
We come to you: your home or office, or your own garage. Film work does want a clean, covered space, so a garage or carport gives the best result. One exception worth knowing about is the C2 Carbon film, which is in-shop only, both as the Bronze full-car tier and as the front-window option. Some work is better done indoors, and for that we run a detailing shop in San Marcos.
We are out seven days a week, 7am to 7pm. Your technician texts on the way and again when the car is finished. After the install, leave the windows up for three days while the film cures. Some haze, small bubbles or trapped moisture is normal and clears on its own, typically in one to two weeks in summer and three to four in winter.
Can I add ceramic coating, PPF or detailing?
A ceramic coating does for your paint what ceramic film does for your glass: it rejects UV, sheds water and keeps the finish from dulling. We are an authorized Opti-Coat installer, with tiers from $599. See the tiers and pricing.
Paint protection film takes the rock chips and road debris that a coating cannot stop, with packages from $1,000 using self-healing Autobahn film. See PPF packages.

Miramar window tinting FAQs
How much does window tinting cost?
Full-car film runs from $249 for Bronze carbon up to $699 for Gold ceramic on a large vehicle, plus tax. Front windows only start at $149 and a windshield starts at $299. The table above breaks each one down.
What tint is legal in California?
Front side windows must let at least 70% of visible light through. Rear windows and the rear windshield can be any shade you want. We will walk you through a combination that stays legal.
Can you tint at my house?
Yes, and that is how most of our tint work happens. Film wants a clean, covered space, so a garage or carport is ideal. The C2 Carbon film is the one exception and is in-shop only, whether you take it as the Bronze full-car tier or as the front-window option.
How long before I can roll my windows down?
Three days. The film needs that time to adhere fully, and rolling a window down early can damage it.
Why does my tint look hazy or bubbled?
That is trapped moisture and it is normal straight after an install. It clears as the film cures, usually within one to two weeks in summer and three to four weeks in winter.
Does ceramic tint really block more heat?
Yes, and measurably so. C2 Carbon rejects about 50% of heat, Pro Nano Ceramic about 76%, and Apex Ultra Ceramic about 95%. All three block 99% of UV. If a hot parked car is the thing you want to fix, that difference is what you are paying for.
Is the tint covered by a warranty?
The Silver and Gold ceramic packages carry a lifetime warranty on the film, as do the ceramic front-window and windshield options. The Bronze Carbon option carries a 3-year film warranty.
