Mobile detailing in Sorrento Valley

That is the whole wear pattern here, and it is more punishing than it sounds. Nine hours of direct sun, five days a week, with a hot cabin at the end of it: dashboards craze, leather dries at the bolsters, headlights haze, and anything left on a seat bakes rather than dries. The paint takes the same UV while the wheels collect brake dust from the freeway run at either end.

Detailing a car while you are at work

This is the neighbourhood where mobile detailing makes the most obvious sense: the car is stationary in a known place for eight or nine hours, and you are not using it.

What we need is the space it is parked in, room to open all the doors, and access to the lot. We bring our own water and power, so there is nothing to arrange with facilities beyond letting us in — and that fact usually settles the conversation, because no tap and no outlet means no building services involved.

Several of the buildings along the valley have a parking structure, and if yours does, a structure space is the better option. It keeps the sun off the panels while we work and stops anything landing on wet paint. If your car is in the open lot instead, an earlier slot gives a better finish in summer than a midday one.
